CITB Grants & Funding

NVQ Funding

Eligible CITB levy-paying employers may be able to claim up to £1,500 per NVQ achievement, provided levy payments are up to date

Short Course Funding

• £60 grant: HSA, SEATS, Temporary Works Supervisor

• £70 grant: SSSTS Refresher

• £120 grant: SMSTS Refresher

• £140 grant: SSSTS, Temporary Works Co-ordinator

• £240 grant: SMSTS

CITB grants and funding are designed to support construction employers with training and workforce development costs. Funding may be available for a range of short courses, qualifications, and NVQ achievements, depending on eligibility.

Construction NVQs

• Trade - Level 2 & 3 NVQs

While we provide estimated timeframes for NVQ completion, each qualification can be completed at the individual’s own pace.

Our assessors work closely with candidates throughout the process, reviewing submitted evidence and providing detailed feedback to support successful portfolio completion.

Online portfolios remain open for up to 12 months, allowing sufficient time to complete the NVQ. Extensions may be available beyond this period, although additional fees may apply.

Please note that an NVQ is not a training course, but a qualification designed to demonstrate competency. Awarding Bodies require evidence that confirms a candidate’s skills, knowledge, and experience within their role and at the appropriate NVQ level.

Our NVQs are completed online through an portfolio portal, NEBOSH courses are delivered fully online, and IOSH courses can be completed online, at a training venue, or onsite at your company premises to suit your business requirements.
